Kristal Group is a strong International Corporate built on “Indian Heritage” based “Global Kristallites’ Family” concept – a balanced combination of “Spirituality & Corporate Governance”. The founder visionary, Sri. K. K. Namboodiri is the Group Chairman & CEO of the Group and Smt. Latha K. Namboodiri is the Group Managing Director. Sri. Namboodiri had his earlier phase of his profession in the field of Design, Manufacturing and Marketing of Electronic products in Medical, Automobile and Consumer electronics, which extended upto 1994 and then onwards into real estate & allied fields. Mrs. Namboodiri has been his business support for the past 25 years.

By the divine decision of God, Sri. Namboodiri had an opportunity to expose to real estate field and Sri. Paul Fernandez of Fern Valley gave an opening. According to Sri. Namboodiri, another spiritual event caused the formal starting of the brand KRISTAL, in February 1998. In fact, the concept of “Meadows” in Indiranagar, which later became Kristal’s first Apartment project (Kristal Meadows), was started in Sept 1997, with the help of Dr. Jagdish Chinnappa.

In the last one decade, the team which started from two members grew to more than 400 Employees and from a rented office to many own offices, not only in Bangalore but also in other parts of India & abroad. If security staff and contractual labourers are included, today, Kristal has been the source of some monthly revenue for thousands of families.

We strongly believe that our pro-Client policies and service oriented, dedicated dealings have benefited to maintain the customer loyalty. Even after a decade, other competitors could not even copy our unique policies like “BUY BACK”, “Free Extended Guarantee Period”, etc.  We have vast experience of handling diversified projects and satisfying thousands of clients. Our brand is well established globally, especially in the state of Karnataka, Kerala & Tamil Nadu. Kristal’s Reputation is built on Client Satisfaction, Trust and transparent transactions.

The same way, in the last one decade, from project having 12 Flats (Kristal Meadows), Kristal has grown to larger campus projects containing more than 900 dwelling units (Tech Park View, Trivandrum).  As against the normal practice of having part time, visiting consultants, we have full-fledged in house infrastructure with staff, right from Project conceiving Engineers, Pre-project specialists, Architects, Legal advisors and Structural Engineers, etc. We do not give One-Time-Total-Contract to any contractor, which will NOT allow customer interactions and ensure required quality; instead, we have two types of working arrangement – (1) fully in-house and (2) Material from Kristal & Skilled Labourers from sub-contractors. In both the cases, the Project Management, Quality Control and all other supervisions are from Kristal’s end. Presently, Kristal has own offices and projects at different levels, at Bangalore, Mysore, Trivandrum and Cochin. Also, other operating centres with projects at another level are in Munnar, Trichur and Palakkad. Kristal’s first international Company Kristal Qatar International LLC. is in Doha, Qatar and is into civil contracting and allied activities. We have jointly operating offices in Dubai (UAE), Columbus, Dallas & San Francisco (USA). Other Kristal entities are in Yercaud, Salem (Coffee Estate & Bungalow), Modern but traditional House Boat in back waters of Alleppey, an associate Resort in Munnar, etc. Kristal is the pioneer in defining “Residential Campus” concept in Bangalore along with a chain of Clubs, Shopping Centres, Clinics, Medical Stores, etc. All preferred (Client & Staff) Kristallites are “Free” to visit any of the above Kristal facilities. Again, Kristal was the first to announce the consortium concept of “Link Facilities”, where other enterprises, shops, etc. offer special discounts to visiting Kristallites as “Privileged Kristallites”.

As an Employer, Kristal offers many staff welfare schemes to Staff Kristallites. We are proud to state that in our industry, we have the lowest attrition rate (less than 6.7%). Also, we are proud of our unique schemes for our staff Kristallites; one as an example, which allows the staff Kristallite to acquire one dwelling unit in parts/ by square feet over a period of time, instead, buying one full flat at one time, which may not be possible for many staff members.

The group Consists of 3 Public Limited (above 2 Crore paid up Capital) and 2 Private Ltd Companies and couple of firms, all closely held by Kristal family. Kristal’s flagship companies, Kristal Projects India Ltd and Kristal Infrastructure Ltd, have 30 Departments & 55 sub-departments, in a well structured organizational plan. As a reputed ISO 9001, 14000 and OHAS 18000 Company, we have memberships in almost all major Forums and Associations.

In Kristal Projects (India) Ltd, along with Kristal Infrastructure Ltd, we are looking for an annual turn over of about Rs.300 Crore through the sale of Bungalows, Villas, Premium & Deluxe Flats, High quality Studio Apartments, well laid Residential Lay outs and through sales/ Lease of Commercial Buildings. This will demand a civil construction turn over of about Rs.120 Crore per year, for which Kristal has two teams, looking after Internal Constructions & External Contracting. We are sure Kristal Qatar International, Doha also will account for more than Rs.100 Crore revenue in the coming financial year.

Presently, although Bangalore is feeling a very low pressure on Residential Sales, we have enough enquiries and sales. In the past few years, our “New Project Launches” used to create customer queues and we used to sell out the allotted Numbers within 3 to 5 Hours on the launch date itself!

Now, Kristal is planning it’s prestigious Project in Devanahally Zone (to be launched shortly) which is very near to the New International Airport, a 81 Acres premium mini-City, with a very wide range of products. Another important campus will be in Trivandrum, in around 24 Acres, with international quality components. Our Coimbatore Office & Project will be inaugurated in February 2008. Calicut, Kannanore joint ventures are also getting ready. As another destination, Kristal is holding more than 200 dwelling units ready orders at Chennai.

Kristal has already initialized it’s Import / Export (Kristal IMPEX Ltd) and will be fully operational in first quarter of 2008. Kristal IMPEX Ltd, will facilitate imports of civil and other allied materials for Kristal and Kristal’s consortium members globe wide. Another major project will be “The Home Depot”, in Coral campus (Sarjapur zone) - a Mega Mall for all Materials & Services related to Civil Construction, Residential & Commercial Furnishing, Interior and Curios, etc. for a wide range of clientele. Kristal has offers from US Consortiums to join hands in Hospitality Industry. Other fields of focus are Health Tourism and Technical Consultancy chain in middle east (Kristal is in discussion with the prestigious, International Bankers, DOHA BANK for their interiors of chain of their branches, planned in different part of the globe).
